Through doing my Meet-up groups and private sessions, I’ve discovered that most people don’t love and accept themselves. By using muscle or energy testing, also known as kinesiology, most people go weak when saying the statement, “I deeply and completely love and accept myself” which is the statement used while doing EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique). What is more curious is that 99% of men go weak on “loving themselves” and women go weak on “accepting themselves.” And, of course, some go weak on both statements. Think about the affect of this on your life….the choices you make, how you react to the people around you. If you don’t love and accept yourself, you will attract other people who don’t love and accept you either. You will find ways to punish yourself, dishonor yourself and disrespect yourself, then wonder what did you do to deserve it! It’s hard to really believe we do this to ourselves, but we all have some form of self-loathing and self-hatred below the surface, creating havoc in our lives.
The good news is that we can reprogram our subconscious belief systems to attract love, acceptance, honor and respect in a short period of time. The technique that I use is EFT, but I know there are others that can do the same thing. I like EFT because it allows you to just say what you are feeling, have your pity party… you’re just tapping as you do it. The vibration of tapping on the meridian points clears the old, stuck emotions that are blocking your energy channels. Nothing like clearing the way for a fresh, pure energy flow…I always feel lighter and brighter when I clear something really dark and mucky! The world changes before my eyes as I change how I see myself since the world is a reflection of what I believe about myself. It’s a beautiful process that once you really “get” it, becomes a fun and exciting adventure!
